SGI and Mitrionics Announce Joint FPGA Supercomputing Workshop Summer Tour in the U.S. and EU

Mitrionics™, Inc., the technology leader in programming FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) for supercomputing software acceleration, and Silicon Graphics (OTC: SGID) announce their joint "FPGA Supercomputing Workshop Summer Tour" starting in Paris, France on May 23-24. During the months of May, June and July, SGI and Mitrionics will host a series of workshops in the U.S. and Europe for scientists, researchers, and software developers to receive hands-on training in the software-centric Mitrion-C programming language for FPGAs. The workshops are free of charge and will cover a broad range of introductory-to-advanced topics designed to provide attendees with both a theoretical and working knowledge of how to develop and implement FPGA Supercomputing applications, utilizing the SGI® RASC™ RC100 computation blade and the Mitrion™ Platform.
